Just who is this Devon O’pre Mitchell? He’s an accomplished singer/songwriter who’s been performing for audiences since childhood. He started his recording career at the age of 18. Born July 16th, 1986 in Los Angeles, California, Devon had already evolved into an experienced performer by that age, one who could focus his entire being through the lens of his musical expression. Naturally Devon was introduced to music by his family, but it was his mother’s taste in music that primarily influenced his future style. He was particularly inspired by the romantic ballads of Marvin Gaye, Luther Vandross and Teddy Pendergrass, and initially concentrated on singing their songs at birthday parties, weddings and various showcases. Right now Devon is writing, recording new material, and promoting himself throughout the Los Angeles area.
