Tim Boyle Born and raised in Oshawa, Ontario, Tim discovered a taste for the Big Band era while studying piano under a prominent ex-band leader. Introduced to dance in his early teens in Oshawa led him to a scholarship at Les Ballets Jazz dance company in Toronto which eventually landed him his first professional job in the arts at Canada’s Wonderland.
From there, Tim spent several years in theater in and around the Toronto area with roles in such Broadway greats as "West Side Story", “The Pyjama Game", "Kiss Me Kate" and A Chorus Line. Accepting an offer to travel to Tokyo to perform as a dancer in a show at the prestigious Tokyo Hilton Hotel, Tim was soon headlining the show as a singer.
Moving forward, his singing career became a focal point for Tim and he hit the club circuit in Toronto with his newly assembled jazz trio. His unique style of classic ‘30’s and ‘40’s jazz and his velvety smooth and rich voice have gained him access to some of the city’s finer jazz venues including "The Top of the Senator" and "The Montreal Bistro and Jazz Club. He and his trio have had the privilege to perform for such notable events such as the Carlu Event Theater Gala Opening, the NHL Awards Gala and Dinner, The American Librarians Association Conference Opening held in the grand ballroom at the Royal York Hotel as well as several weddings and cocktail receptions.
Taking a short hiatus from his club work, Tim was well-received as lead singer on board the Dawn Princess, part of Princess Cruiselines to international audiences and many accolades. Most recently, performing on a rotating basis at the luxurious "Hy’s Steakhouse" in Toronto, and soon to return to the newly opened Top of the Senator Jazz Bar and Superclub. Now concentrating on a new CD from a live one man show co-written by Boyle and collaborate Frederick London, "A Simple Man"
